Following the great success of last year, the Prato 4 scout group is proud and honoured to be a partner in this year’s Da Sponda a Sponda 2025 initiative, organised by our friends at the Le Aquile Mattiniere running club in support of charitable projects promoted by La Forza di Giò, Casa Edoardo and Polisportiva Aurora.

Save the date: the departure is scheduled for Monday, 1 September 2025.
The event will take place in Piazza S.M. delle Carceri, starting at 8:00 p.m..
“Da Sponda a Sponda” is an initiative that always manages to attract over a thousand participants. This year, the event will take place on Monday 1 September, starting at 8 pm from Piazza delle Carceri. As already mentioned, the event is for charity and the proceeds will go towards supporting the activities of Lilt (Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer) and Casa Edoardo.
Registration for “Da Sponda a Sponda” is now open (the fee is €8) and can be done at the following locations, during their opening hours:
- Aci Prato – sede principale, via Ferrucci 195/T, Prato
- Polisportiva Aurora, via Didaco Bessi 5, Prato
- Il Campione, via Mino da Fiesole 20, Prato
Route
The Da Sponda a Sponda 2025 route consists of two routes of five and ten kilometres, both entirely flat and therefore suitable for everyone. There will be a refreshment point at kilometre 5 in the Santa Lucia area.
Upon arrival at the Oratorio Sant’Anna, there will be a “lavish pasta party.” On the day of the event, from 7 to 8 p.m., the departure time, instructors from the Serendip gym will also offer warm-up exercises.
Dedication
The initiative is dedicated to our dear friends Roberto Giacomelli and Fiorenzo Gei.
Each participant will receive the famous event T-shirt! Starting at 9:30 p.m., prizes will be awarded to the first five spontaneous groups and the first five largest running groups.
