The historic and famous city of Verona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recently hosted an extraordinary event: the National Route of the Scout Communities, which brought together all the scout leaders of Italy. This special gathering was not only a time for leaders to meet and compare notes, but also offered the opportunity to share experiences, ideas and visions for the future of the scout movement in our country.
The first photos show the city beloved by Shakespeare as a backdrop, with scout leaders arriving from all corners of Italy. The warm hugs and enthusiastic smiles were the sign of a welcome that already promised unforgettable moments.
The following pictures take us inside the classrooms and camps where numerous workshops and conferences took place. Scout leaders, experts and special guests shared knowledge on key topics such as leadership, sustainability and new educational methodologies. In one of the photos, we can see a group of scout leaders carefully engaged in a discussion, notebooks in hand and eyes sparkling with curiosity.
Socialising Moments
In addition to the formal meetings, the scout camp offered many moments of socialisation and recreation. The following photos show the scout leaders engaged in recreational activities, games and evenings around the campfire. One of the most touching pictures shows a group of leaders singing together, creating an atmosphere of brotherhood and harmony that only the scout movement can offer.
EXPLORING THE CITY
A part of the programme dedicated to discovering the beauties of Verona could not be missing. The photos show the scout leaders exploring the historical monuments, picturesque alleys and landmarks of the city. Visits to the Arena of Verona and Juliet’s house were particularly moving moments, immortalised in shots that convey the wonder of these shared experiences.
The National Route ended with a closing ceremony that summed up the importance of this meeting. The final photos show the scout leaders gathered in a large circle, ready to take home new ideas and inspirations. Greetings were warm, but with a promise to meet again soon, united by the common mission of growing the Italian scout movement.
An Event to Remember
